Im glad you like this bee photo. The bees were particularly active that day, it was windy and as you can see from the pic, I was shooting into the sun. A small challenge.
I was going for 2 images here Patrick - though admittedly not as good as your all too brilliant sun ku (STILL one of my all time favourites) but as close as I could get to staring at the sun. Speaking of which, I am yet to get my hands on Im Juli.
Your bees are coming back....good one, Dalloway :)
ReplyDeletewishes,

Lovely picture - a summer nod from south - sunlight through a bee - marvellous
ReplyDeletecheers Ashi, Devika... love a good bee photo, I do ;)

ReplyDeleteI love your bee shots - great!
ReplyDeleteI like see-through life.
ReplyDeleteI like the way this moves from light to light.
ReplyDeleteJust a little "brilliant!" from me. I wish, I could do that.

ReplyDeleteand welcome back, Frank, I look forward to seeing some more of your haiga
Love this, Emma! You and your lovely bees!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the bee shot. Wow! But haiku are such small forms. Any time a word is repeated, like Sun, one wonders if an opportunity hasn't been missed.
ReplyDeleteThis photograph is awesome!

I love that 'through a bee' - one of those true "wish I had noticed that" moments!
