  7. good to see your haiku again, too :)
    i figured out a while ago that i can't focus on photography and haiku at the same time and retain quality in both. and while i can take nice (occasionally even good) photos, i realised i'll never be an above average photographer

    Haiku and photography are both about making something in the world important by virtue of our observation, our attempt to make it into art and our willingness to put it out there for the world to see. There will always be someone better than us and someone worse - at least we are out there trying - and its not a bad way to spend our one shot at life.

    Your photos, by the way, like your haiku, tell me something about how you see the world - and thats what I find fascinating.
