  3. I love the way that you've split the photo. Nice haiku too.

  4. I like the haiku very much. Nightswimming is not for "Warmduscher" (it is wimp, I think, in English).

    Best wishes

  5. This haiku is magical Dalloway. It really doesn't need the photograph. Have you considered drawing or sketching? It seems almost, that this haiku begs for something more abstract. The poem is so evocative in itself.

Also, I'm going to sound like a shill for WordPress.Com, but you ought to consider moving your blog to wordpress - especially since you're posting imagery. Wordpress gives you far more options - doesn't limit the size of the photograph you can post.

It also manages comments much better.

  6. Yes Ralf, night swimming is not for the faint hearted. Theres sharks in our pools, you know ;)

Lovely to have you back Patrick. I used to draw. I just need copious quantities of space and time to get those kind of creative juices flowing. Sigh. Mind you, its comments like those that spur me on. I thank you.

And I thank Devika, Magyar and Frank too for your encouraging words. You all rock!

  8. a very creative piece, i understand your hankering to state something original, and i think what is so grand about haiku, is that quality for difference which allows, even when the moment or experience is the same or similiar; its that very feature which allows the popularity for kukai
