  5. _Sometimes, when the bee is deep into the flower, the buzzzzzzzzzz seems amplified by the cone of the bloom.
    Megabloom; Megaphone?

  9. PS: If your cartwheels are half as good as your haiku, they must be stunners.

  11. Dalloway,

So sorry I haven't stopped by more. Your latest series of pictures are stylish. This haiku, like the two that follow, are rich with atmosphere. I get these haiku all arise from the same sort of contemplation.

  12. Patrick, the images were always there in my head, but my photoshop skills were sorely lacking. Thankfully Im getting a little more adept with cutting and pasting stuff.

I might put my request to you on your blog because Im not sure if you'll read this - but - one of my favourite poems of all times is "Prayer Before Birth" by Louis Macneice. I love it as much as for its rhyme and meter, as for its content. Id be fascinated see you analyse this one. Actually, Im going to cut and paste this straight on your page now.... xx Dal

  13. I love this haiku....First it´s the shot that is so clear then the splendid use of words like haze.Even without the kireji in this haiku, the two ideas in the haiku are differentiated so well by the arrangement of your three lines......Wow
